Furness Carers Update: 5th November 2020

Here at Furness Carers we continue to have unpaid Carers are at the forefront of our thoughts in ensuring our services improve and support them with their caring role.

We would like to inform everyone that our Carers Centre continues to remain closed to Carers and the public, however we will have a very limited number staff working from there to ensure enquiries and referrals for our support services are dealt with in an appropriate and timely way. Our Carer Support Service Advisers and Young Carers Workers will carry on working from home, delivering Carers Assessments, Reviews, one-to-one support and for our Young Carers virtual After School Clubs over the telephone, by email or over the internet by using digital support.

If you need to contact us for support or general enquiries then we request that you call our office on: 01229 822822, if it is not answered then please leave a message or email us on and we will get back to you ASAP.

We look forward in the future to being able to welcome Carers and public back to our Carers Centre but in the meantime we will continue to follow the Government and Health Guidance in ensuring we run our services in the safest possible way for our Carers, their families, our staff and volunteers.
